Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Grooming Cartel, we value your time and ours. To ensure fairness and smooth scheduling, please review our cancellation and refund policy:

Cancellations

  • 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit the full booking fee.
  • If you are not home or unable to provide access at the scheduled time, the appointment will be treated as a missed booking and is non-refundable.

Refunds

  • Pre-paid bookings are generally non-refundable, but may be transferred to a future booking if cancelled with sufficient notice (minimum 48 hours).
  • Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as a genuine emergency or an error on our part.
  • Additional charges incurred (e.g., matted coats, fleas, aggression handling) are non-refundable.

Late Arrivals

  • If we arrive and your dog is not ready or you are delayed, the session may be shortened to fit the schedule. The full fee will still apply.

Our Right to Cancel

In rare cases, we may need to cancel or reschedule your booking (e.g., due to vehicle issues, staff illness, or extreme weather). If this occurs, we will reschedule your appointment at no extra cost, or provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible.
